Site Area Continues to Grow

Today, three of the excavation units, that span a 16m area of the site, contained significant information about the past.  There are pieces of at least three new ceramic containers, evidence of repairing and making stone tools, cooking activities as indicated by fire-cracked rock associated with burned wood and charred and butchered bone.  There is still a predominance of fish remains.  A new type of stone tool appeared in unit 10.  It has not been completely exposed, but appears to be a large chopping-type tool.
